BBQ Bacon Cheeseburgers 🍔
Thick juicy patties stacked with crispy bacon, melted cheddar, and smoky BBQ sauce.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 8 slices bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 0.5 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 red onion
- 4 leaves lettuce
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 8 minutes, then drain on paper towels.

Gently form the beef into 4 patties slightly wider than the buns. Press a dimple in the center and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat a grill or cast iron pan to medium-high, about 450°F.

Grill the patties 4 minutes, flip, top with cheddar, and cook 3 to 4 minutes more until 160°F inside.
