Cast Iron Pan Pizza 🍕
Crispy fried golden edges and a fluffy middle, the pan pizza that beats any chain version.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 cup tomato sauce
- 8 oz mozzarella
- 3 oz sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tsp oregano

Coat a 10-inch cast iron skillet with the olive oil and press the dough to the edges.

Cover and let the dough puff at room temperature for 20 minutes while the oven heats to 475°F.

Shred the mozzarella and spread it edge to edge over the dough so the cheese fries against the pan.

Spoon the tomato sauce in stripes over the cheese and top with pepperoni and oregano.
