Burst cherry tomatoes, garlic, and torn basil make a bright, sweet sauce that tastes like summer on spaghetti.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 4 cups cherry tomatoes
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar

Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente, about 10 minutes, saving 1 cup pasta water before draining.

Warm olive oil with sliced garlic in a 12-inch skillet over medium until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
