  • 1 large onion
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 8 cups bread cubes
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
