Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1 bottle beer
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
