  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 baguette
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 cups lettuce
  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp paprika

    Stir the mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce, and paprika into a remoulade and chill.

    Peel the shrimp, dip in beaten egg, then dredge in the flour and cornmeal mixed with a big pinch of salt.
