Wedge Salad with Steak 🥬
A hearty iceberg wedge showered in blue cheese dressing and crispy bacon bits, crowned with a grilled steak slice for pure steakhouse satisfaction.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1.25 lb steak
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 8 strips bacon
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp worcestershire

Fry bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble.

Pat steak dry and season heavily with salt and pepper. Heat cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking. Sear steak 4 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Transfer steak to a cutting board to rest 5 minutes. Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, white vinegar, worcestershire, salt, and pepper.

Cut iceberg lettuce into 4 thick wedges, keeping some core intact so wedge holds together.

Place each wedge on a plate. Pour blue cheese dressing generously over each wedge.
